TASK 1 - AUDIOVISUAL WITCHES

 We've all heard about witches at some point in our lives, in fact, cinema and series are one of the most common resources in which this magical creatures appear

As we have said, from now on you will be working in groups, in this activity, each group will have assigned a certain audiovisual production in which at least one witch appears. You must watch it, take notes, and finally, answer to the following question:

"How is the witch perceived? Note down the main characteristics of her personality"

After doing this, its time to share with your classmates the characteristics of your particular witch or witches, let's see what they have in common!

The different films or series you have to research on are the following:

1. Hocus Pocus - (1993)

Typical Halloween Movie, if you want you can also watch the second part which aired on 2022.

2. American Horror Story: Coven (Season 3) - (2013)

Each season of this serie tells a completely different story, in the third season, we can watch how a Coven of witches evolves, with lots of spells, betrayals and personal interests...

3. Kiki's Delivery Service (1989)

This film from Studio Ghibli narrates the adventure of Kiki, a witch who moves to a different town and takes advantage of her flying ability as her way of earning a living.

4. The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (2018)

The 16th birthday of Sabrina Spellman arrives, and she must choose between staying as a human and loosing all her witch abilities or keep evolving as a witch but lefting behind her human reality.

5. The Simpsons

As we all know, this show has been on air for lots of different years, so, between all the different seasons, there are some episodes in which different witches appear, take a look on this ones:

- Treehouse of Horror VIII (Season 9, Episode 4)

- Treehouse of Horror XVI (Season 17, Episode 4)

- Rednecks and Broomsticks (Season 21, Episode 7)
